| Coba Canales started October 1, 2007 as an intern in the Greater San Fernando Valley. Coba had been a volunteer with FCA for the past two years—leading Huddles at both Carson High School and Stephen M. White Middle School, as well as serving as a Huddle Leader at FCA Camp. After spending his freshman year of college at the University of Pennsylvania, playing Football and Baseball, Coba decided to transfer to Azusa Pacific University to prepare for ministry and continue playing football and baseball. After graduating from APU in 2006 with a B.A. in Biblical Studies and a Biblical Language Minor, Coba served as a ministry intern at Mission Eben-Ezer Family Church in Carson while part-time Substitute Teaching in the LAUSD. Now married to his high school sweetheart, Coba and Andrea have relocated to the San Fernando Valley where Andrea will be receiving her B.A. in Child and Adolescent Development at Cal State Northridge. Coba is also currently attending Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena. |
