Jarret was raised in Southern and Central California. Jarret and Sheri met at Redwood High School in Visalia. The two were married in 1992 in Visalia and immediately moved to North Dakota. Jarret played football and graduated with a B.S. Degree in Mathematics from the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota in 1994. Sheri later graduated from the University of LaVerne with a B.S. Degree in Psychology. Sheri is currently employed in the Graduate Psychology Department at Azusa Pacific University (APU). The couple has two children, Maddison and Nicklaus. Maddison is involved in drama at her high school and Nick is a 1st Class Brown Belt in Karate. Jarret has taught math at the high school level for 12 years with the last four years at Northview High School in Covina. Jarret has coached football for 13 seasons with the last four at APU. Prior to Northview and APU, Jarret was the Head Football Coach at Workman High School in the City of Industry for 2 years. He started his career at Mt. Whitney High School where he coached and taught math for 6 years. Jarret has served as a huddle coach for 6 years starting huddles at Workman and at Northview and has also been a football clinician at the FCA Sports Camp in Santa Barbara. He started on staff full time September 1, 2006. |
