During the time Tom was at Life Bible College, his heart burned to see the lost, saved. He began witnessing on the streets of Hollywood to the runaways, squatters, homeless, prostitutes, transponders and even tourists. In 1989, he helped pioneer and launch True Worship Ministries where he served as a Pastor for over 20 years.

During that time, God brought him the love of his life, Shawna. She is the daughter of a missionary who had spent three years walking across America and parts of Mexico preaching the gospel. Truly a match made in heaven.

In 2007, Tom began conducting Bible studies for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), as a huddle coach at Washington Prep High School, an inner city high school. It was featured in the January/February 2008 edition of "Sharing the Victory" magazine. In 2007, Tom also began serving a baseball instructor at the annual FCA summer sports camp.

The Lord opened doors for Tom to serve on staff for FCA and serve as the Los Angeles "South Bay and Beach Cities" FCA representative.

Tom believes that the real work of the church should be done outside the walls, being properly equipped by weekly church attendance resulting in service and fellowship in the love of God.
